It's actually a miracle that real handcraft is so affordable. Take a look at the artistic ornaments on our oriental tea tray “Mernissi”: In order to execute patterns so accurately, a lot of experience in the craft of chasing is required. Braided ribbons, star and flower motifs usually decorate the bottom, while fine perforations, garlands or geometric patterns decorate the edge.
“Mernissi” is made in Morocco and then silver-plated to a high quality. The three small feet identify the oriental tea tray as a typical floor tray. The distance from the floor makes the tray easier to grasp - an advantage of course also on the table.
